From humble beginnings, Yvon Pelletier started Brunswick Industrial Supplies Ltd. in the basement of his home in Moncton in 1988. With his wife, Marie-Claire, by his side, they established a strong customer base relying on superior customer service and quality products as the cornerstones of their fledgling business. Yvon’s extensive training in sales, combined with his background in industrial sales—specifically abrasives—as well as his ability to network, served him well for over 20 years while watching his company grow.

His dreams came true in 2006 when his son Michel joined him, making it truly a family business. A registered Mechanical Engineer, Michel brought a technical background to the business, specializing in industrial machining. He shared his father’s passion for networking and learned everything he could about sales from his mentor and father, Yvon.

Today, more than a dozen years after Michel took over the reins of the business, Brunswick Industrial Supplies Ltd. continues to grow! With a new location and more staff, the business continues to serve the manufacturing, construction, steel fabrication, and machining industries of Atlantic Canada. Yvon would have been so proud to see how Michel has flourished as President of the business he started so many years ago.

De débuts modestes, Yvon Pelletier a fondé Brunswick Industrial Supplies Ltd. dans le sous-sol de la maison familiale à Moncton en 1988 avec le soutien continu de sa femme Marie-Claire. Ensemble, ils ont créé une compagnie fondée d’une combinaison de service à la clientèle exceptionnel et de l’expérience approfondie d’Yvon dans la vente industrielle. Son entraînement intensif en vente, ainsi que sa capacité à réseauter, l’ont bien servi pendant plus de 20 ans.

Ses rêves se sont réalisés en 2006 quand son fils Michel l’a rejoint pour en faire une vraie entreprise familiale. Diplômé en génie mécanique, Michel a apporté une formation technique à l’entreprise, se spécialisant dans l’usinage industriel. Il a partagé la passion de son père pour le réseautage et a appris tout ce qu’il pouvait des ventes de son mentor et père, Yvon.

Aujourd’hui, plus d’une douzaine d’années après que Michel a pris les rênes de l’entreprise, Brunswick Industrial Supplies Ltd. continue de croître ! Avec un nouvel emplacement et un ajout d’employés, l’entreprise continue de servir l’industrie de la fabrication, de la construction et de l’usinage de l’acier à travers les provinces de l’Atlantique. Yvon serait tellement fier de voir le cheminement de Michel en tant que président de l’entreprise qu’il a commencée tant d’années passées.
